Handmade by New Zealand-based artist Bridie Hall, this piece pays homage to English poet Lord Byron (1788–1824), a defining voice of the Romantic era.

A two colour circular bas-relief portrait plaque cast in jesmonite and fitted with a small plate disc for hanging.

The original portrait plaques from this series are believed to be English, circa 1840.
