Fireplace Matches - Paste paper originated in Germany in the late16th century a form of decorative paper to cover the insides of books. The paste was made from wheat, pigment and water it is manipulated in to amazing patterns that are endless and beautiful. Paired with  copper leaf and glass, a fabulous combination, plus long slender matches that are elegantly displayed. The match strike is on the bottom of the glass, with each piece of paper hand marbled, making this one of a kind piece of art a perfect gift any time of the year.  When empty, easily refilled with Diamond fireplace matches. 

Large Box: Marble paper, copper and wood, each box has a different paper on each side, no two boxes are ever the same. Each one made to make you smile. Please let me know what color or colors you would like or I will surprise you!!
