Sailor, Jefferson Hayman

The photographic process used here for Sailor is called Dye Sublimation printing and it is the first time I am sending you something like this. 

The process is where a special print is made and then transferred via heat onto an aluminum panel. The print is then coated with a protective layer that is highly resistant to damage, humidity and heat. Glass is not present and it is not needed. You can submerge the print in water, draw on it with a sharpie, spill wine on it etc., and it can all be wiped away with a cotton or microfiber cloth. Because of this, prints in this process are perfect for bathrooms, beach houses, bars, kitchens and the like.
